लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु,
What does that mean? It’s Sanskrit, and it’s commonly used as a mantra. “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu.” It means (roughly) “may all beings be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my life contribute to that happiness and that freedom for all.”
And it’s tattooed on my arm.
I want to be constantly reminded of that intention because the first time I heard it, it resonated so deeply I thought my heart would crack. That’s the whole point of all this- life, community, sharing, the choices we make- all of this should contribute to happiness and freedom. Otherwise, what’s the point? All beings deserve to be happy and free. If you can make choices to further that idea, why wouldn’t you?
That’s why I will donate 10% of any money I receive through Earth Star Healing to a great organization that nourishes people and saves animals. A Well-Fed World is dealing with the world’s biggest and yet most unnecessary problem: suffering as a result of hunger. Just check out their website and you’ll understand.
So just know, when you book a session with me, we are healing you. Your body, mind, soul, and spirit will benefit. Since we’re all connected, the rest of the world will benefit when you’re in balance. And more tangibly, the world will benefit as we donate a portion of your session cost to A Well-Fed World. By healing yourself, you heal the world.
